thank you both so much....i am impressed with your skill and knowledge at identifying plants.........i do so hope that the echinopsis is one that has those very long white flowers that come out at night i well remember many years ago going out to my tiny unlit unheated plastic greenhouse with a torc...

i recently was given a bowl garden containing 3 plants, that had been kept in a bathroom for a number of years. when i got it the whole thing was white........covered in talcum powder :shock: :shock: i sprayed the whole thing with a hand held water spray to remove as much as i could, then dug them o...

as a total beginner so to speak ........there seems to be 2 different opuntia's there to me........one with round bits and short spines........another with flat bits and long spines.........are you sure that there's only 2 different plants in there :?:

How do you make a photo part of the body of the post, as opposed to inserting a url that takes you to the stored image on a photo storage website? I see that people are making photos part of their posts. How do you do that? Copy and paste does not seem to work. i will use your avatar as an example ...
