1 a clump of Thelocactus bicolor (better to plant separately) keep dry and cool till the spring. 2 very etiolated Rebutia sp. (perplexa??) Needs much sun and dry cool overwintering till the spring. I say: YES! More, I care each new plant with insecticide and put it in carantine for a month.
Having some hundreds of pots it's much easier to prevent than care invasion of all collection.

I've got 2 unrooted cuttings about 10cm for 2.78 euros both from Succseed (Mats Winberg, Sweden) last summer.
They rooted very fast and grow without problems on full sun. The stems and spines are very tiny comparing to common Ch. silv.

Give them sun as much as possible and keep in cool place without watering in winter. Outdoors when no temps below freezing.

Usually trichocerei give new growth at grownd level.
Buds develope on the top of the plant.
In some cases buds turn into vegetative sprouts.
Give it dry cool overwintering in good light and maybe next summer you'll see nice large flowers.
