G'afternoon K.W.

The scent of Discocactus flowers is very nice but it is hard to describe what type of scent is.
They open flowers in the same night.

The normal rooting of Aztekim is not easy.
I attempted several times without any successful results.

Aztekium ritteri, with a short vascular bundles of Hylocerus

Aztekium ritteri, with a short stock of Pereskiopsis
7~8 mm in diameter off-sets were grafted in 2015.

An unknown name of Ferocactus planted outdoor was in flower.
I sowed seed in 2001.
It is 40 cm in diameter.

It appears I may have the same Ferocactus as you, Wislizeni.

Thanks for your information.
Since I bought cactus-mix seeds, I did not know the name.

The main potting-mix is 60% pumice sand and 40% organic material.
Top dressing which you can see on the photos is 2~4 mm zeolite.
