Byron,
I'd say Tephrocactus weberi on the first and Trichocereus tersheckii/pasacana on the second.

Depending on who you are talking to they are the same thing. To me it looks like what I'd call tersheckii, but have saw plants that look like this when young, but grow more spines and bristles as they age and turn out looking like pasacana.
