Greenhouse completed: Day 4
Ready to move my cactus in. I may just leave the floor dirt for the time being. I will remove a few side panels for summer ventilation. it only takes about 30 seconds to put one in or remove it..

Dagnabbit!! With my current arrangement of the metal table and a few 55 gallon drums, the GH is nearly full!! I didn't even get all my plants in there!! I mainly wanted to get them from being in the weather during my surgery as won't be able to move them in and out for a while. When I recover, I will build some perimeter tables and make other arrangements to utilize ALL the available space. I still have enough room to put another platform and get the rest of my C&S in there, and still be able to walk around, but it is going to be close with the arrangement I have now. I will get some pics tomorrow and let y'all see inside. I removed 8 of the vertical side panels, 4 on each side, for maximum air flow. They are in storage until late fall. The panels are easily removed when you remove the clips, but are otherwise stable. I also have a good wind break all the way around the structure. I have all confidence that it will hold up during bad storms. If it gets blown down, or a tree falls on it, my homeowners insurance should cover it.. It would have to be a powerful, bad storm to tear this thing down as it is well made and braced to the max. Also, with those 8 side panels removed, wind will be able to flow through it rather than against it..
