Unidentified variegated plants

Post by DzienDobry »

Howdy all,

I picked a few of these up, they werent labelled but i liked them anyway.

Can someone be so kind as to give a few opinions? I have a few suspicions but I dont want to influence the judging.

One looks like it is about to flower, it is coming from an off centre areole, ill put the pic on when i get it.

Needs a fire hose :confused5: as it is burnt a little bit. Good green progress on the top. It seems to be an E. subdenudata.
Friends like flowers need love to grow.

Hehe, he is a little burnt on top, just like the rest of us here in Holland this week. He is recuperating in the front room, i like this one very much, I think ill keep him. Echinopsis are all pretty similar, and when you variegate them, well, it seems we have a pretty safe bet what it is now. Thanks everyone!

I also don't think this is variegated. Just sunburnt. Echinopsis go yellow when they get too much sun, eventually they will become increasingly pale and translucent, then die, but perhaps not In Holland 8)
