My grafting experience (Updated 02 Jan 2010)

Ok got it, i will stick to my original plan and graft to pereskiopsis and maybe some hylocereus if they grow big in time.

I'm refering to seeds of Caput Medusae. If you really have so much seeds to spare then please read your pm asap

ahh sorry, i misread that, i have LOTS of hylocereus seeds, not caput seeds...lol sorry!

Update:


Didn't grow much bigger but spines turned white.


And a little grafted astrophytum seedling. Looks abit weird to me.

I think the Astro is OK, just half-way to getting its white coating.

Update: Sat Jan 02 2010!

Ok regards to that graft, it survived and it stays yellow. Pictures following after that are all my grafts and degrafts.


This is how it look like now, waiting to be rooted after drying.


I tried grafting a Mammillaria.


It 'blew' up.


Grafted a pup of (forgot name). Anyway, waiting for it to flower.


Grafting on Rebutias. When it started budding i was so happy.








Overview. The middle Rebutia graft is budding too, but still small. Hope flower is yellow.


A fun graft on Williamsii


Rescued this Astro by grafting.


All are grafted Astros. Degrafted and rerooting in progress.


Biggest of all, really don't wish to harvest this. But all Pereskiopsis died of age.
