Ian or anyone: What's going on with this Lithops? I have watered it twice since it started cooling off. It looks like it may need another drink? I have never gfelt so helpless with a plant in all my life. I'll be glad when I get them figured out..

Lithops karasmontana naturally have wrinkled lids. Don't try to force it into being smooth with extra water, this species will grow very tall with too much water (and still have a wrinkled top!). You probably will notice the plants wrinkling much more even though it is cooler and less sunny, which can seem strange after they've happily sat through summer with barely a spray. But they are growing now and they need more water to do it. Your plant is fine though, don't worry about it.
