My cereus don't look nice anymore...

Post by Ken1983 »

I transplanted them and put into a slightly shady place. Then it became like this after 2 months.

I have now put them into brighter place again.

How can i make it look nice again? It looks distorted with uneven growth now, its not straight anymore. Should i cut away the ugly section?

I agree with Bill. As long as it's healthy I wouldn't cut it.

The way I look at it is-- I don't grow show plants and no matter what it looks like I still admire it because I grew it. Nobody that grows cacti has all perfect looking plants

Hi,
I agree with the guys: to me the growth of a plant tells about its history and the way we (the plant & me) have gone together. I would not want to forget it.
And by the way, the curved form looks quite elegant, doesn't it?
