Reduced at Homebase...

Post by madaboutsnails »

Please help me identify this. I got it a few days ago from Homebase. It was very cramped, so I re-potted it. It was reduced for a quick sale because the pot was smashed. I though he was wonderful!

Thanks all :)

Matucana (aurantiaca ssp.) polzii.
If your cacti mess in your job just forget about the job.

I'd second that, by the looks of it it needs more light the offsets look thin and stretched. I keep mine in direct sun for at least 7 hours a day in summer.
And as the walls come down and as I look in your eyes
My fear begins to fade recalling all of the times
I have died and will die.
It's all right.
I dont mind
I dont mind.
I DONT MIND

Thanks both. I had noticed that the new offsets were elongated too. It getting as much sun as I can give it, though in this weather, thats not much!

You just got it from indoors (?) in a warehouse with no windows. Etiolation is to be expected. Don't go mad and burn it. Although any offsets you lose will be replaced very quickly.

Here's a plant that I hope people would agree is grown well. This is just an offset that fell off my main plant a couple of years ago, they are completely manic.
