So this topic is all about which plants deserve more attention in wholesale in cultivation, though perhaps different countries have different import and wholesale practices. In any case, i would like to hear your opinion on which plants (cacti, succulent or similar xeriscape) have fared well for you, but for reasons are somewhat unpopular, unusual or underused in commercial growing.
To start off
my top 10 list would be
- Graptopetalum bellum
- Selenicereus grandiflorus
- Myrtillocactus geometriazans
- Aloe broomii( dont know if name is changed or not)
- Hatiora salicornioides
- Dracaena draco
- Crypthantus plants ( not a succulent, but somewhat xeric)
- Kalanchoe beharensis
- Dudleya
- Red spot aloe hybrids
Most underrated plants
Re: Most underrated plants
I would say the Frailea species(besides Frailea castanea).
My favourite is Frailea cataphracta.

Are you interested in indoor or outdoor plants? I don't know the low temperatures in Macedonia - -4C?
A great easy plant that flowers easily and is nice in a hanging basket is Othonna capensis. Outdoors in warm climates is a ground cover.
