Echeveria Cutting Help

Post by courtneymhampton »

I have a stretched Echeveria or two that are sitting in a window sill that gets decent sunlight all day long. I'm not sure why they're stretching unless I just planted them too deep in the planters. Since the base of the plant is in such great shape, I was wondering if it would be salvageable after I cut the stem off, or if it would die off? Any help would be greatly appreciated, especially if my light issue could also be resolved. :)

You can chop the top off, let it dry for a few days and replant it. The base will form new stems
