Stunning pictures as always! Question about lhitops-are they always on the top of the shelves in your greenhouse or do you move them? I keep mine in shade over the summer but they lack the winter sun to grow strong as yours...Im still learning to take care of the mesembs, though.

Good morning Bosenoge,

the Lithops are in full sun all year round. The Conophytum are in the shade in summer.
My lithops get water and fertilizer like the cacti.
In winter, in Germany, they get 2 to 3 times in winter a little water.
The substrate is 100% mineral. A lot of fresh air is important.

Best wishes

K.W.

PS what means Bosenoge? Is it a name? :-k :)

I sincerely hope that they are soon expelled, they cause great harm. . .

Hi K.W.,

I see that you have a Parodia leninghausii. Mine is not doing so well. Do you also use 100% mineral and water it as often like your other cacti?

Thanks!

These plants need more water and fertilizer than the average cactus.
Take a look where they grow.
Even in winter a little water, but no waterlogging.

PS Is your first name Kaufland-Netto? Yes! Then I know your mother!

Danke. Maybe I will try to do 50% mineral, 50% organic then I don't need to water my parodia as often.

Tatsächlich heiße ich Kaufland Netto aber meine Freunde nennen mich Penny.
