Good evening dear cacti friends,

today 15.February 2020 was a nice, warm and sunny day in and arround Köln.
So I took the chance to take some photos.
Maybe you want to spend the afternoon with bees, crocuses and some flowers?
Then come with me. . .

Whats freaky about Frau Klein is she is a dead ringer for one of the last cats I had, she was named Samantha. Same black spot on her head, same black coloring of the tail and the black spot on her back. Samantha went through all of her 9 lives over the years and it ended with her being taken by a coyote one summer. My wife witness the incident. It happened 20 years ago. How old is Frau Klein. I wonder if she is Samantha reincarnated.

Hello Mike,

Frau Klein was probably born in summer 2010.
But we don't know, she came to me in June 2012.
Because of the teeth, she was probably about two years old at the time.

Best regards

K.W.

Good evening dear cacti friends,

That happens too. . . The mice ate the buds in autumn and infected the plant with their saliva.

I haven't been by your thread recently, and wow, you've posted some impressive photos. I'm particularly impressed by the number of Lithops you have.
I'm curious what cactus this is. Peniocereus?

Good evening Shane,

sorry that my answer took so long.
Excuse me, I was in the clinic and had an eye operation.
Regarding your question; it is Rhipsalis pilocarpa.
A very grateful genus and species that grow and bloom like crazy! :D

Take care of yourself, stay healthy!

Kind regards K.W.

Thanks for the reply! I like yours so much I'm going to get one for myself I think (someday...)

As for staying healthy, I'll try, but I found out today there's a decent chance I have coronavirus right now (mild though, don't worry). I hope everyone reading this does a better job avoiding it than I did. Especially anyone in a high risk group
