Looks like an young F. cylindraceus.
If your cacti mess in your job just forget about the job.

Interesting one, those brown spines are hard for me to place :-k

These hair-like white radials, 1 - 3 pairs per areole are very typical feature for the species.

Some of those can be with brown spines. A photo from Arizona.

A type of peninsulae. Based off central spine length and lack of recurve most likely subsp townsendianus.
