Along with other cacti, I have six plants that look like echinopsis spachiana. Three are quite yellow. They are alongside other green cacti (including other e. spachiana) that are quite green and healthy. All plants are over 12 years old. Could this be a variety rather than a deficiency. If it is a deficiency (lasting 12 years) why aren’t the other plants in the same beds affected?
Photos of one of the yellow echinopsis spachiana and a green one, two feet away on the same soil and conditions.
Is there a yellow version of Echinopsis spachiana
