I disagree on the first one. Parodia magnifica doesn't cluster like that. They look much more like some kind of Echinocereus to me.

On clustering: what about this one (I have guessed magnifica or maybe claviceps)

You're both wrong. It is neither a Parodia nor an Echinocereus. It is instead Echinopsis calochlora.

The plant that you see in the picture has its growing point damaged, that causes the plant to grow offsets.
It looks like parodia magnifica
Location : Sri Lanka, tropical climate, no winters.
