Not sure if this contains them, but if you are into Astrophytum cultivars you may find this article interesting since most seem to arise in Japan:-

Whether some have been given European names like "triangle flat" etc by the seedsman themselves I do not know.

Thanks so much DaveW! The another thing I'm guessing is the Japanese spelling in another language, will look into that PDF, thanks a lot!

Astrophytum myriostigma kituko smyle
Astrophytum myriostigma triangle flat
Astrophytum myriostigma onzuka Hokan
Astrophytum myriostigma nuda Koyo Heki
Astrophytum myriostigma nuda Kituko Kyorya Hekiran
1. Astrophytum myriostigma kituko smyle
It should be "kitsuko style".

2. Astrophytum myriostigma triangle flat
Japanese call normally this species as "sankaku ranpo"

3. Astrophytum myriostigma onzuka Hokan
Hokan is an abnormal name for cacti.
Hokan means a judge of court or a comedian of Japanese traditinal entertaiment.

4.Astrophytum myriostigma nuda Koyo Heki
It should be khoyo Heki
Heki is a short word of Hekiruri Ranpo Gyoku which means myriostigma v nudum.

5. Astrophytum myriostigma nuda Kituko Kyorya Hekiran
Kyorya is no special meaning as Japanese. It may be a spelling mistake.

I do not keep No. 1 but I have all others.
