Online lectures or talks.

Post by DaveW »

Many will have been tuning in to online talks by various cactus societies during the Covid lockdown as cactus clubs can no longer hold meetings due to social distancing constraints around the world. However if you missed these, since often they occur at inconvenient times for some around the world due to different time zones, there are a few from CSSA conventions on YouTube. However the video quality is sometimes not first class since they have obviously been videoed directly off the Projection screen the lecturer was using rather than being a recorded online Powerpoint production or similar.

Thank you! Saved that whole playlist. I always tend to find out about these things only after they already happened, so these videos are a great help.

The BCSS has just issued a list of it's September online talk's in its E-News:-

7.30pm BST = British Summer Time which is one hour ahead of Greenwich Mean Time (= GMT) is you are converting to other time zones.

There is a time zone converter here:-
