Is this normal? Please identify possible disease.

Post by ipdown »

Hello all,
this is my peyote grafted on top of blue myrtle. In the last 5-6 weeks it grew substantionally, but recently developed some light brown colouring, as
the flesh was wounded there and then recovered. What could be this? Is it bad for the plant and do I need to take some measures?
Thank you. Pics below, mostly visible from the top:

Thank you! I will ask local horti stores, would you recommend any specific substance or brand?

I treated it with something that might not be known to all of you as it might be sold locally under that name, but it sort of helped, as there is new growth that is green, and I assume that means those mites are dead now:

This is the chemical I was adviced to use, sold here under brand name Nisoran 5EK, the active ingredient is Hexythiazox:

I wonder if I need to treat it again preventive, or to wait and see how it goes.. What are your advises? Thank you for your help and knowledge!
