Nice flower!
A cactus and succulent collector who especially likes Ariocarpus. …Though I have a bit of everything! Want some pictures? See my flickr! I also do art and such.

Very beautiful 👍
I would like to have this someday, because i collect all arios

1) how old us it?
2) do you use some fertilizer (high in Phosphor) to promote flowering?
3) what gravel is that do you use as a substrate/medium?...it seems to me that it is not a limestone
4) why do you put the plastic pot inside of the terracotta pot?

Thanks

I am not sure of age.
I only use a couple drops of the MG succulent fert once a year.
It is a limestone medium.
I want to transplant it but I am kind of afraid to. That is because of the winds we get in Cali where Im at. Adds weight so wont topple over.

Ariocarpus are autumn flowering in the UK. My A. agavioides is just showing first signs of a bud, but I did repot this year so maybe that has slowed flowering a bit.

Living Rocks an Ariocarpus website does give details of cultivation in the UK. How that applies in other countries I do not know, but would think it would be similar.

A few of my arios are making felt. I don't expect flowers for a month. It's still over 100 during the day but got down to 68 this AM.

Same here Tim, Arios seem eager for cooler weather!

Two of my A. fissuratus made a liar of me today. They go from felt to flower in no time.
