Super Deluxe, Mike!! What a great result and intelligent investment. I can't speak for all of us....but I'm impressed and a little bit envious.
Gives me motivation for improving my collection and presentation.

Re: My GreenHouse Build.
Good evening Mike,
it worked out perfectly!
You have built something wonderful for yourself and your plants.
I like it very much when words are followed by actions - you have shown how to do it in a wonderful way!
Triple Bravo !!!
I wish you continued fun, success with the plants, lots of flowers and no unwelcome visitors to the plants. . .
Courage dear friend!
Kind regards
K.W.

That's nice if I move I'll need a greenhouse like that. Very nice work on the benches. You bought the fan separate I'm guessing ? Yours is single wall polycarbonate I guess ?
Notes for me "Needs a foundation, water and electric power . And benches are built separate.
And in a cold climate I see growers adding bubble wrap in Winter and maybe shade cloth in Summer.

@ Keith...the first couple of posts mention somewhere that he purchased 10mm polycarbonate . Not sure if that means double or single wall...but it would be double skinned with ribs inside.

Hi Keith
I chose this kit because the walls and roof were Double Wall 10mm. They are supposed to be 95% UV protected also.
This size came side 1 vent and the 2 roof vents. I ordered an additional side vent. The Fan was ordered from a separate vendor.
I did the wood foundation so I could have a true level base to build on.

Hi Mike, the greenhouse looks perfect, I will need one if I leave coastal CA for someplace with cold winters. I like the way yours turned out and it's about the right size but maybe I'll want a bigger one

Re: My GreenHouse Build.
I'm going to continue this as a growing and flowing in the greenhouse topic now. So its fall now in the desert. The plants should be going into rest but they are not. The greenhouse goes down to 50 degrees at night and into the 90's during the day. The plants don't want to stop growing. A few pictures from today of flowers. I have not kept up with all the flowers over the past 2 weeks but will now do daily captures.

Re: My GreenHouse Build.
I have had to continue watering everything. I tried holding back but some of the opuntia started to look stressed and a few actually began to fall over. 24 hours later they were standing up straight. I'm seeing that throughout the greenhouse. So as long as they show growth, I'm going to water.

Awesome build Mike! Your plants are really enjoying it! Do you find yourself watering more with terra cotta pots?

Hi Mark
My watering schedule has changed completely since moving to the desert. Average humidity is 10%. The larger pots will retain moisture longer, but the smaller pots during the hot summer were watered every other day.
The Greenhouse has made it more critical. I was going to winterize all of the plants since temps get down to the upper 30's to low 40's at night. I gave up on that idea. Some of the opuntia flopped over from lack of water. Temps get up to the low 90's inside during the day. I find myself watering the smaller pots every 3 days and the larger pots very 7.
I did have 12 plants in plastic pots. I found they needed to be watered along the same schedule as the same sized terra cotta pot.
