Hello. Is my plant Opuntia pailana or some other species? Thanks for any help. :)

As soon as Opuntia pailana is a synonym of Opuntia leucotricha, this is one possibility. Another possible species might be O. pilifera. Wait for some flowers to get more evidences for its' ID.
If your cacti mess in your job just forget about the job.
