Alber - I've got E. vivip & sneedi seedlings going from MG -- doing great! Sorry you had problems for whatever reason. Have the E. texen. & horizon. that you had originally listed & they're doing great too. Another source you might consider from US is Alplains. They sort of specialize in cold-hardies, but prices are good germination is excellent & tend to work in units of 20 - 40 seeds (or 100!)
Once bitten by the cactus collecting/growing bug, there is no known cure!
There's no 12 step programme for Cactaholics...so I shall just have to get some more!!

Hello everyone!
In my absence,I was busy with my studies and other responsibilities and couldn't make time to care for the seedlings.I lost everything except the E.texensis and C.elephantidens ](*,) ](*,)
The few E.texensis and corys here were moved outside after 1 month of germination and turned out to be bigger and more robust than the ones grown under artificial light until earlier this year.
I finished repotting today,it's very hard to do in 43 C temp.

Two years ago, I fell in love with E.texensis and searched for a plant all over my country but couldn't find one so I asked my aunt to send me seeds. Now I have too many to care for lol

Note: The unpotted pictures are a week old while the potted pictures are months old.

This post is long overdue for an update!

A few days ago at 6 in the morning I somehow remembered I have neglected cacti seedlings out on my terrace. It's probably for the best as my plants tend to die from rot if I start caring for them too much.

I'm sorry if the photos aren't of the quality you're all used to, I only have my near obsolete phone to take pictures with.

I don't know if ive mentioned this before but i potted these two together because their roots were too hard to separate, almost conjoined when i unpotted them from the plastic container they sprouted in.

Hello all! Great to see this place is still alive and going. I have a growth update to share with you all after seeing my plants for the first time since i last updated this post.

I live across the ocean from where my plants are. They grow under minimal supervision and are basically left to the elements now. I visit when i can and try to rejuvenate growth by repotting and fertilizing whenever necessary. I snapped a few pics whilst repotting.

I will go through my older posts and try to post direct updates for individual plants if i can identify them correctly.

The survivors look good . That's the way I grew cactus years ago when I was always having to move around. Then years later I would be surprised. Some made it and looked good like yours, some kind of alive but not too good and some just disappeared.
