Hello
They look fine to me. Try poke gently with your finger If it doesnt cave in its fine. Lophophora can feel a bit squishy.

Re: Is My lophophora williamsii rotting
You do understand that every time you did up a plant you damage the roots. All the small water absorbing roots break away and you now need to wait for them to grow back before watering again. If a plant gets sick you compound the ability for it to heal by uprooting it. Try and diagnose issues without inflicting damage. Corking and callusing is normal plant growth. It looks completely different from rot and fungus issues.Since you are very new to the forums, you should wade through at least 30 pages of previous postings to see what a sick plant does look like. It will make it much easier in the future for you to not worry about normal growth.

Not a bother. Post all you questions. I was just trying to help you with your worries. Since there have been so many questions about is my plant sick, going through a few hundred previous postings helps to garner a better understanding of the issues. When I joined the group I'd spend days going through previous posting in all the forums to get a better understanding of cultivation and growing cactus. It sure made it easier to differentiate between normal and abnormal.

Don't get too attached. Plants have a lifespan. Some grow forever others will suddenly die off after a few years. i lost 24 plants last summer. So I replaced then with 50 more.
