Hi everybody,
there is another Aloe for which I am looking for a name. This is the Aloe of my grandmother who died about 12years ago.
I would be glad to put finally a name on that plant.

Accepted Scientific Name: Aloe maculata All.
Well!Not to be confused with Aloe maculata.
I admit, I trust neither -- Llifle is splendid but not always super correct with names. So I looked at desert-tropicals. They write

Synonym: (...) Aloe saponaria, (...)
So I've learned again something. Thanks!The species name comes from the Latin sapo for soap; sap from the succulent leaves makes a sudsy foam in water, and can be used as a soap substitute.

Among 3 most common Aloe speciei using in natural medicine sap of A. saponaria isn't bitter comparing to A. vera and A. arborescens.
