Any Parodia specialist? (Two Parodias)

Post by mmcavall »

Anyone could help me identifying these two similar but different Parodias?
I have my guesses but as there are several similar species I wouldn't like to influence your's.
Thanks a lot!

Plant number 1 has totally yellow flowers and straight, needle-like spines:

Plant number two has hooked spines. The flower is also yellow but with some orange in the center of the flower (pistils?):

Thank you anttisepp! But...which is which?

My guesses were:
Plant 1: P. chrysacanthion
Plant 2: P. microsperma aureispina

Yes, anttisep, I saw what did you saw .... your suggestion made me notice that the spines in the first two pictures are whiter. Maybe there is some variation among the plants or some hybridization? But the flowers are all the same yellow.
Thank you for helping me. I agree with your suggestions
