Good evening dear plant friends,

today some photos from June 9, 2023.
Here in Köln it is warm and sunny.
The nights are cool, during the day temperatures up to 28°C / 82°F.
Unfortunately, there is hardly any rain.
Every year I think, will there be flowers?
And every year there are so many that I can not possibly show them all here. . .

The last plants I got from the nursery Piltz.
Mr. Piltz passed away in April, I feel for his wife and family.
Such kind people are fewer and fewer.
Every summer we had barbecues and parties at the nursery. . .

Are those green trays your pots are in bread trays used in bakeries and delivery trucks? How long do they last in the sun? I have wooden trays holding my pots and I need to replace them.

Great page
never seen so many species
Love the clustered rebutias all grown together
I have way more space, so nothing ever gets to grow into it's neighboring pot
Especially love those 2 flowering Pelecyphoras, hope you cross them for seed
Check out our plant and seed lists

Good evening Jerry,

these are plastic boxes.
So far, after about ten years, there are no problems with brittleness from UV light.
Everything is fine.
