I’ve had this little guy for not too long, and I’m trying to figure out what it is. It’s a blue-ish columnar cactus, with nodes of about 8 brown and white/light tan striped spikes. New spikes are fully brown and gradually gain the lighter color.
I am thinks it could be Pilosocereus pachycladus, but as I am new to cacti, it’s hard to say for sure. Any thoughts?

Hello Cactusnewbie98,
your description with counting the spines & telling about their colouration is very good.
Wouldn't expect Pilosocereus pachycladus as those are quite wooly around the spines. There are many cacti with a blueish-greyish skin. When I was here in the forum for a wile, one guy explicitly asked for the names of blueish cacti as he wanted to build up a collection of those. I remember that list became quite long as I hadn't expected that.
Does Polaskia chichipe have such greyish spots & marks...?
Good luck

Re: Help identifying please!
Can be some Stenocereus as well. It is too young to determine.
If your cacti mess in your job just forget about the job.

Agreed, there are a few Stenocereus it could be, as well - way too early to tell.
