Some Roadside Tillandsia

Post by leland »

In the last couple years some roads have been paved in my area making amatuer botany much easier. They all go from the valley where I live up into the mountains crossing 2 or 3 ecosystems making it easy to find something in flower each trip. I am rapidly identifying the common species, especially with the help of inaturalist.org.

Very nice, thank you for the pictures, leland. Incredible for me living in Germany that you drive around & just meet such plants at the roadside.... WOW!

Question: Is it possible that IMG_3747.jpg shows a Wallisia...?
