Attempt making two from one

Post by Hanazono »

I split a seedling and grafted on 21/09/08. The scion is caput-medusae, sown seeds on 24/08/08.
One failed and other was made well. I could not make two from one and I have been reviewing my method.
I did normal seedling grafting also. 30 of all grafted successfully.

A split seedling grafting, I assume pups will come out from the scion.

Very nice, Hanazono!

I´ve also grafted parts of seedlings horizontally. Here is an example of Uebelmannia pectinifera onto Selenicereus.

Sure appreciate your experimentation and sharing it. Even when it fails, that is good info for the next guy that is going to try it.
