Also, I'm looking for Echinocactus Platyacanthus that has "purple banding" on it.
I live in CA. in Orange County. Email is hetherrh@earthlink.net
If there is any other shops, please drop me a line or if you have these or some, please contact.
I am interested in plants that are around 4" pot sized or bigger, no seeds.
Thanks,
Ron
Looking for some plants.......

Yep, forgot to add that one. I actually wrote to them and am awaiting a reply. Had some questions. I have the book CACTI The Illustrated Dictionary by Rod & Ken Preston, and Mesa has some of what I'm after, but more than just one.
For example; Gymnocalycium Quehlianum, Mesa lists 4 different types, 483, 483.1, 483.22 & 484.1, so I'm a bit confused on which is which.

The purple banding is very common on Echinocactus seedlings which are grown in good light. They will grow out of it in a few years. There is no specific form or collection which has or doesn't have the banding.
Mesa Garden often has multiple plants with the same name. They always include a description with each one indicating collection numbers, where it was collected, or what particular features it has.
