seedling grafting on opuntia compresa

here is my first try of grafting ( astrophytum) seedling on opuntia compresa seedling, it went very good tile it wase eaten by something i will try again next season
did any one try it as well?

There are others here that use O. compressa I know. Pereskiopsis and Stenocereus are also pretty popular stock choices.

I've never used it myself but I was impressed by the photos of plants on the Cactus Art site because they looks so 'normal' - not bloated and misshapen as you often see with other stock.

I tried grafting on compressa stock once. I'm not really into grafting but I have alot of compressa stock if I need it :lol:
