Oh man, yeah. it's already almost filled, hahaha :D
- highest shelf: bigger plants
- middle shelf: smaller plants
- lower shelf: tools &co.
Guess I'll have to find another place for the tools soon
Btw, thanks John for your comment on the photos of Pisa. Yours are really cool too! Really nice trip to Tuscany ;) Hope you had a good time. Sure you had nice weather!

Thanks Peter for the F. IDs.
About containers etc.: Eco-friendly speaking, we recycle a lot of plastic waste, after all ;)

Yes, had a great trip. :D Actually my second -- the first time I visited Pisa (among other places), but that was before I had a digital camera. Will have to scan the old snaps to put them up online. (Same with all my photos from Spain and most of them from France).

Enjoy your growing collection!

Best,

This is a Gymnocalycium saglionis or pflanzii, i'm leaning towards the former.

13. Here's another one. My guess is Ferocactus macrodiscus. But I saw quite different plants labeled F. macrodiscus, so... :-k

(5 more plants to go... will post photos next time)

John B: I have the same problem with my non digital photos. I grew up moving from country to country since I was about 2 years old. We have TONS of non digital photos of the many places we've been. The mere idea of scanning them all makes me faint, hahaha...
On the other side, I occasionally choose a few digital photos to print. Some turned out so nice it's not funny to only being able to see them on a computer screen ;)

Hi,

It looks like Parodia buiningii.

Agree -- the thought of scanning all the pics is daunting, that's why I haven't even begun.....

hu! that makes a lot more sense. Thanks John. Guess I should look better at ALL photos. I think some photo of a F. pottsii brought me off track. But the spines are indeed like the Parodia, straight, lighter color with red/brownish base, alternated different lengths in the same aureole... Parodia Parodia :)

Of course, there are places that will do this for you for a fee.
All Cacti are succulents, but not all succulents are Cacti

I had forgotten about these two...

14. Polaskia chichipe ? (It's about 2" 1/2 tall and has some broken spines, but the roots look fine)
Image

15. Mammillaria huitzilopochtli ? (I looked for some common Mammillaria with soft, brownish, wavy, long spines and it looked like this one:
http://www.cactiguide.com/cactus/?genus ... ilopochtli )

I'm done... for now
Thanks!
