Many in the Cactus world are obsessed with Copiapoa columna-alba
me, being one of them
But I only had one that was old enough to flower
Luckily, I have friends that also share my love
Ed Reed, the curator at the CSU Fullerton education Arboretum
Bought the Rosmarie Saurer (sp?) collection after she died
Which was a large part of the Ann Shein Copiapoa collection that Rosmarie bought after Ann died
So we how have a mating pair

I can't tell difference between
Echinocereus triglochidiatus var. mojavensis f. inermis and
Echinocereus coccineus f. inermis .

Nice looking plants. I almost feel bad for my Thelocactus Hastifer when they flower compared to a bicolor but they are pretty sweet plants

Pelecyphora asseliformis is one of my favorite cactus
Many years ago, when I was thinking about selling seeds
I said I will start when I can sell my own Pelecyphora asseliformis seeds
That day never came, and I had so many other seeds I gave up on that promise
Still, I have never had a single batch for my own use
The species is not easy to get, and easy to kill, even grafted ones
I bought a couple grafted ones 2 years ago, and the rotted from the inside last fall
My one flowering plant, grafted

Luckily, I have friends with plants that will lend a hand when it comes to producing seed
Friend's beautiful plant on it's own roots
