It turns out that Chathuchak is more alive in the Tuesday evening than at Wednesday morning
This is my 1st time to go there in the evening and these are the scenes

There are also many seller who i have never seen during Wednesday morning and some of them only open during Tuesday evening
Many of whom has bargain price for their quality items

I definitely am not going to Chatuchak on Wednesday morning anymore

Just remember...visit it during Tuesday and Wednesday
Never on weekend...they don't sell plants during weekend, only souvenirs

Very cheap. I've never seen Pseudolithos for sale in person, but on the internet they're $40 for a very small one. To put it in perspective, for $11 you can buy around 3 of our cheap cacti. So $11 is nothing for something desirable like Pseudolithos

It's strange because the prices I've seen on your prior posts weren't that different than what we'd pay in the US

That's why i told you...there were a lot more cacti sellers on Tuesday evening
And some of whom, had a bargain price for their quality items
These sellers are not open during wednesday morning...only tuesday evening...
So, if you wanted to hunt for cheap cacti...you would have to go on tuesday evening...

And i agree...350bath on wednesday morning only gives you a pseudolithos of a size of your thumb diameter

...tricky...it has become harder to bring any plants into the EU, even as a traveler one needs a phyto certificate...however it's hard to say if they already started implementing the new rules. Visiting this market without being able to buy anything sounds like hell on earth

Nice and lots of variegated cactus. I bought some clearance cactus and succulents at home depot for a dollar each .

A Notocactus Magnificus and some hen and chicks they were small but healthy. Cactus vary widely in price around here.

I saw some interesting items but i didnt know what they were

1) Is this Geohintonia mexicana?...the ribs look like it, but i'am not sure about the wooly crown
It is grafted and about 10-15cms in diameter
I can see some remnants of dried flowers in the crown 2) Pseudolithos cubiformis?...if it were, then this would be my 1st time seeing it in real life 3) What is this? The labels says "Frailea angelesii" , but there is no such cactus in Lifle...
I was temted to buy it, but aince it wasnt mexican, i held myself Thanks

Frailea angelesii does exist, but llifle database works a bit in strange circles sometimes, because of naming :

It's also called Frailea mammifera subs. angelesiae so I guess it's listed under mammifera.
I got a bunch of seedlings from this species, I love them, such charisma !

I read...that fraileas are short lived cacti (like Frailea castanea), right?
