well i put them in a propergator with a lid on and they are starting to grow :o even the ones in a glass of water have roots now :D

Thats great hob,soon you will have so much of
it you wont know what to do with it.I have also
rooted Harrisia and Myrtillocactus in water in less
time than the regular method.
Next I will try C.peruvianus

That goes against everything common cactus literature has taught us! :lol: i would have thought that the cuttings would have rotted, other than the pereskiopsis

they are amazing aren't they?

if its warm there, throw them out in full sun and the new leaves will be nice and fat :)

Thats what I thought also,but hey it works :dontknow:
17 days after cutting and treating with rooting hormone and placing in water now we will have to see if it rots after being planted The pic is dark sorry Image

Amazing transformation hob. :) they look just right for grafting. nice melocactus in there too. the two things pereskiopsis love are water and heat. you should see it in a heated propagator! it goes ballistic.
