Quite a lot of ladybirds around this spring, but almost all of them the invader. They eat just as many pests, maybe more, but they are still likely to be hurting the native species.

Whatever it is, its the one you usually see around here. Lots of them and like you say I've seen hundreds in peoples homes before.
