ok guys, i get the feeling i'm setting myself up here iv'e never even seen a Carnegiea gigantea yet alone owned one i guess i'm flying by wire here using my internet skills rather than my plant knowledge, any glaring mistakes feel free to let me know.

Unfortunately the one name that won't be back is Sulcorebutia. Oh, and Mediolobivia, like anyone cares Its comfortably hardy to -7C (20F), a good one for the unheated greenhouse.The future may see the return of the genus Aylostera along with Rebutia and Weingartia.
P.S. Your E. coccineus v paucicostata has more spines than my normal one

you mean paucispinus........ it came with collection data SB 406 Kimble county Texas.

Looks good Hob. I'm glad you pointed out that the name is an anagram. I was surprised when I learned that they did that with scientific names. It makes for a neat sounding name anyway.
I wonder, however, if descriptive names are better suited. Perhaps "Bolivicactus" would have been a bit more awkward, but make it easier to remember what it means? Maybe not. I know someone thought it was a good idea with "Bolivicereus".
