You always have such great flowers, pics, and plants, but the
Chamaecereus hybrid meryl sweeney flower is stunning, and wow,the Setiechinopsis mirabilis looks like it is climbing up high to show itself off.

Well the greenhouse over winter trick really worked well I see. Not only do you get flowers, but you don't have to move it either!

Harry E. aurea has tons of different looking vars with mainly yellow flowers, except for dobeana that is red. Used to be just Lobivia dobeana

yeah i noticed that on my sulcorebutia callecallensis aureiflora LAU389 the one indoors didn't flower, the other 2 did profusely [see page 19] i am tempted to leave about a hundred or so plants out there this winter, mainly Rebutia/sulcorebutia/echinocereus to see what happens. i am thinking about downsizing the Rebutia side of things anyway to make room for other things in the 2 greenhouses and letting the red spider mite prone ones go as i see about a dozen or so plants destroyed each year before i realize they are infested :x

Here's the original Lobivia aurea, into flower on almost the exact same day as Hob's.

Lobivia aurea var dobeana was the original with red flowers, but Echinopsis aurea includes many other species with quite a variety of flower colours.
