MJ - When is North Carolina going to recognize your garden as "The State C & S Garden"! :D BTW, there's been 2 or 3 new NC Forum members I've been referring your way. Hope you don't mind & they're taking up the referral!
Once bitten by the cactus collecting/growing bug, there is no known cure!
There's no 12 step programme for Cactaholics...so I shall just have to get some more!!

In the Opuntia garden this O. polyacantha hystricina bowled me over with its unexpectedly vibrant color

This Echinopsis ferox overwintered in its pot outside, the resulting scars now hidden, quite fortunately, by flowers.
