Outdoor Genera Project: Wanted seeds

Post by Loph »

I have torn up my garden (sorry honey!, roses gotta go!!!) and replaced it with rock and sand. its small at my house. I am also taking over their parents farm (using the land), and have decided on a 1/4 acre roughly) for cactus.

SO.

My goal is to start Genus by genus and collect all species in given genus, this is where i need help.

Also everything must be seeds, unless you can get phyto/cites paperwork (i will pay for it depending on which plants, others not worth it)

I must have missed this post when you made it.

Anyway, there are species on your list that I'd be happy just to get a picture of, let alone seeds or actual plants!

But... I like your approach. Aim big and even if you come short, it is still big! :D

to be honest I probably dont know what any of those cacti are however if I ever come across any of their seeds I will let you know. It does sound like a huge project, kinda like what I need to do to my yard I think.

(BTW for anyone wondering. my lot size is 1/3 of an acre!) I gotta save some room for the driveway which is long and goes around behind my house(I live on a corner lot so I got two sides bordering streets). One of these days I am going to have figure out what I am gonna do with the house. ITs small. Maybe I will leave space for an addition!
(although with my current cacti-addiction I will probably have to build on top of it instead of on the ground!)
Here's to you, all you insidious creatures of green..er I mean cacti.
