Hello all
i'm Dovev, i live in israel and grow cacti and succulents for more then 15 years now,i usualy grow
plants that interests me botanicly ( i'm a biologist)
over the years i have grown many cacti and succulents from seeds, grafting and so on.
i have many C&s grown outdoors and 3X3m greenhous which contains small and more sensetive C&S.

What is the variegated plant in the tiny photo....can you upload it bigger?? It looks like an awesome A. myrio or ornatum from here (but I don't have my glasses on either!)

it is 5 years old grown from seed 1 out of 100's

I LOVE it. Only 5 years old. I have some 2 year old non-variegated....and they are still not even in their own pots as , well, they don't need them.
I do have a fairly short growing season, not enough light (my lot is totally wooded) and no greenhouse.
Sigh (and a little jealousy)
On the bright side, I don't have Hezbollah launching Katyusha's at my house.
But for an Astro like that....well, I'll have to weigh the pros and cons of each situation!!
