I'm a newbie

Post by ozziecactus »

Hi everyone,
I'm new and I just want to introduce myself. I have been collecting cacti since I was about 15 (I'm now 21). My mum brought me my first one because she believed it was the only plant I couldn't kill. I now have about 15 or so. I have three special ones that live in my house with me, I am not sure what type they are but I have named them Angus, Frank and Co. I look forward to being part of this forum and gaining some knowledge about cacti.

I too want to welcome you to the cactus forum. I do hope that you will enjoy talking to us and I am quite sure, that most - if not all - of your questions about cactus cultivation will be answered. As Daiv already said, we do enjoy looking at all these cactus pictures from Australia when we are in the dead of winter over here. Do you have any flowering plants?

Not an ozzy fan just an Australian. My cacti are preparing to flower so I should have some pics in a few days.
