Excellent Hob! You sure do get a lot of flowers! It has been a while now, how are the "in ground" plants comming along? Is it all Opuntia yet? :lol:

not quite, but it has got bigger and grown 2 new pads.
things are starting to grow quite well now, i'm pleased with the way things are going.Image

The in-ground bed does look good. I spot lots of new growth. I see that Echinopsis in bud in the first pic too.
cactology sent me that as an escobaria
I gotta say that is the most impressive Escobaria flower I've ever seen! :o

Do you know yet if it will be effected by the outside soil being wet all the time and seeping or wicking into that planter?

so far it seems to be immune from the heavy rains landing on the ground outside.........i guess the winter will be the deciding factor :?

yeah i'm really pleased with how its going so far :)

other things happening recently........ this plant i have had for a while now but always kept in the relative cool of the conservatory, this year because i have 2 i put one in the new greenhouse and the result smells awful :shock:
