Hail to everyone on this forum!
Congratulations to the maintainers! I'm a printmaker from Hungary. I've been collecting and growing cacti for about 15 years. Since 2003, my 'speciality' is the genus Lophophora.

I also want to welcome you to the cactus forum. I believe, that the genus Lophophora is not very well represented in this country, because at least the williamsii species is not even legal here.
I am looking forward to your posting some of your plants in the near future.

Welcome! Have you read the recent series of articles by Martin Terry on Lophophora in the Cactus and Succulent Society of America Journal? Very interesting. Terry's in the process of researching the genetics of the genus using tissue samples from many different populations.

Post some photos of your plants when you get a chance!

Hi everyone, thanks for welcome;)! Well, that 15 years can be divided into 2 parts: 10 years not intensive (I bought plants I liked, but I did not know what they are)SO I have some old plants, but not a big collection. 5 years intensive ;) "research" on the genus Lophophora. :dontknow:
I haven't read the Terry article, because I haven't subscribed to the journal. If someone coud post the article to me, I'd be grateful :hiding: !Here are some pics from my collection for my Texan friends. Image

I think the third plant - the one with those three beautiful blossoms - is a great specimen. What kind of Lophophora is that?
Also, I am amazed by the fat root system of plant number two and the overall health of all the plants pictured.
