Inverted grafts

Post by Arzberger »

Hi all,

here's a picture of an inverted graft. When I have very few seedlings, I use to graft also the lower half. 2 or 3 weeks after grafting it begins to sprout, like this Glandulicactus uncinatus, grafted on Selenicereus.

Very cool!
We've experimented with Pachypodiums, but have not been successful yet. (0 for 2)

Very good idea, I've been wondering about that.
I am planning on doing more cross section grafting. This is a cintia I grafted with only four areoles.
Image The top was grafted onto another peresk stock, Now I wish I had grafted the root too.
