I'd be careful with your unknown volunteer. It sure looks like bindweed and that can be about the hardest weed I know of to get rid of.

Yep, Bindweed is terrible stuff, but has a nice flower.

I was thinking those arrow-shaped leaves were part of it, but looking back, I see it isn't. Bindweed has smaller leaves that are reminiscent of a bean plant.

Chris and Daiv, thanks for the Bindweed Weed ID. All those pointed leaves in the first picture are those of the Bindweed plant. I really do like those flowers, and it's definately a low maintenance plant. :lol: Tony
