California Mid-State Fair

About the biggest event in this part of California is the Mid-State Fair in Paso Robles.

SLO county is pretty much dominated both historically, and even today, by ranching and agriculture / horticulture.

At the fair, still exhibits such as floraculture and ag/hort are alive and well though mostly supported by local 4H and FFA groups.

Floraculture divisions include Cactus and Succulents so I took a quick look. The fair could surely use more support from the local C&S community but there were quite a few exhibitors.

Seeing CC's new logo prompts me to post this image of the division winner.

Glad they got some cacti in there at least. Good way to raise awareness.
All Cacti are succulents, but not all succulents are Cacti
