A mild winter solution

Post by GeneS »

I did a post on this structure last winter while it was all covered with plastic with green tarps for ends. It has become a bit more tidy over the year and is now awaiting a fresh covering of 6 mil poly.

And from S end. New cold frame is right beside me as I take this. NS orientation with opening to E.

It's a bit crowded, about 250 sq ft of bench space total. But, it will keep the winter rains and occassional frost at bay.

Yes, shelter is 18 x 20 feet overall = 360 ft sq total.

You can accumulate a lot of stuff in 35 years :)

Looks good, Gene - I like the "Stadium seating" the cacti get for a good view of the sun! :sunny:
All Cacti are succulents, but not all succulents are Cacti
